Here at Little Friends Farm, we have been raising Western Heritage Miniature and Micro Cattle since 2015.
We fell in love with these adorable little critters after extensive research online and decided that we had to make mini cows a part of our life, so Little Friends Farm was started with 3 Heifers. We added another Heifer a year later, and she promptly delivered her first calf later that year.
Our herd is up to 10 head and we are super excited to have 2 of our "Girls" bred and ready to deliver this Spring/Summer on our family farm.
These mini cows can be a mix of several different breeds. Breeds such as Longhorn, Dexter, Zebu, Corriente, and Hereford.
They're an exotic brand of cattle breed, who displays multiple colors, patterns, spots and brindles.
These miniature cows have coloring similar to the cattle that could be seen grazing the pastures and prairies of the "Old West."
At Little Friends Farm, we strive to raise healthy, happy, and friendly Mini Cows! We like our animals to be approachable and easy to handle. Miniature cows should be a fun addition to your family farm.
The average size of our cattle is 36" at the hip. But we do have several under 36" which makes them Micro Mini Cattle.
They are about 1/4 the size of a full grown cow, perfect for a small acreage farm, a 4-H Project with the kids, or your own personal "Mini Cow Therapy!"
